The sgesim package is used to calculate with sexagesimal values, i.e. hours, minutes, and seconds. It is available for Maple V Release 3, 4 and 5.
The current version is:
- sgesim v 1.1 for Release 3 - October 24, 1998
- sgesim v 1.3 beta 4 for Release 4 and 5 - December 10, 1999
- sgesim v 1.3 beta 4 for Maple 7 - September 22, 2001
Functions:
- sgesim/sg
defines sexagesimal values.
- sgesim/addsg
adds two or more sexagesimal values.
- sgesim/subsg
subtracts two or more sexagesimal values.
- sgesim/mulsg
multiplies a numeric with a sexagesimal value.
- sgesim/divsg
divides a sexagesimal value by an integer.
- sgesim/adjustsg
applies proper adjustments to a sexagesimal value.
- convert/sgsec
converts to seconds.
- convert/sgmin
converts to minutes and seconds.
- convert/sgfull
converts to full representation.
- sgesim/get
retrieves hours, minutes, and/or seconds of a sexagesimal value.
- type/sg
checks for a sexagesimal value.
